Skiing trip advice and tips?

Im going skiing in 3 weeks, and dont really know what to expect. Im going to Ravascletto in Italy with my school. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice about skiing and the whole experience of being there? And do you get altertude sickness? Were going up 950m to 1830m (thats what it says on the website anyway) thanks!

Answer on Skiing trip advice and tips?

going on a ski trip can sometimes become competitive between people the best advice is just have fun and take it easy because being competitive can lead to stupid injuries. If you don't have much experience skiing than a ski lesson would be favorable. Lessons may seem unnecessary but even if it's just for one day it helps get basics in your head and also helps you avoid injury by knowing proper technique. If you are afraid of altitude sickness you should drink plenty of water everyday and perhaps avoid alcoholic for a few days until you feel confident that you have adjusted properly.

Can you be arrested on a plane?

Reference for a story.

A FBI agent is on a plane, following a murder suspect who is attempting to leave the country before she can be arrested. Say they--as in the other agents on the ground--get enough proof to arrest her. Could the suspect be arrested on the plane? (flying from the US to Italy.)

Saw something on TV that gave me the idea....wanted to know if it was possible.

Could a person on a aircraft be arrested under a US warrant? Yes

Does the officer/agent on the aircraft have to have the warrant in hand? No, they can be advised via whatever communications are available on the aircraft.

The suspect could be arrested even after the aircraft lands in the foreign country prior to the suspect clearing customs.

For a situation like this, in partnership with the foreign country we can request that the person not be allowed to clear customs if we don't have an officer or agent nearby. The foreign country can hold them or put them back on a aircraft to the US.
